'Sparks of earthquake'
LTTE women cadres cut music disc depicting conflict
Colombo (PTI): An LTTE women music group has cut a disc titled 'Sparks of earthquake' that highlights through a song the protracted conflict in Sri Lanka.
The cassette was released recently at rebel stronghold of Kilinochchi in Northern Sri Lanka.
The cassette relating to the LTTE war was unveiled at a function at the Kilinochchi Vatakatchi Ramanathapuram west government tamil school, a media report said.
While the meeting was chaired by the head of the LTTE cultural affairs, the traditional lighting of lamp ceremony was performed by in-charge of the outfit's Dillipan
services, Elumadhi Karikalan.
The CD was released in the institute, named after Sencholai, one of the earliest female LTTE cadre to die in the battle field.
The first cassette was presented to Shankar, whose two brothers were killed while fighting with the Sri Lankan army, the report said.
